MARA'S daily diet and training journal

This is Mara's journal regarding her daily diet regimen as well as her training routine.

It's bright & early, ready to leave for work. So just thought...
I'd write something on here. * yay!

I do have valid reasons/excuses for NOT writing before. But if my computer at home is back up & I'm commenting on things here, might as well post.

[Monday, April 30th]

Forgot my meals.

Workout:

I did Cardio, Pump and Crunch class with Mary. 1 hour of aerobics, weights, abs, gliding things.

It was extremely hard towards the weights part. I was dying, but I looked at Mary, knowing she was in pain as well. But she didn't give up, so I told myself, "I CAN DO THIS & IT'LL BE WORTH IT!" (That's what I usually say when I'm in pain, I don't want to just give up and I think about the results later on.)


[Tuesday, May 1st]

Meal 1: Special K cereal with 1% milk. (I'm not use to drinking 1%).
& green tea, always have to have green tea in the morning before work.

Meal 2: whole banana

Meal 3: Rice and beef with mixed veggies. (My dad made it for me.)

Meal 4: Yummy green apple.

Meal 5: Chicken that Bas put in the oven & peas and corn.

Meal 6: Special K cereal with a banana. (Didn't have anything to snack on at night after the gym, so I just decided to eat that.)
and again, green tea before bed.

NOTE: I can't really eat and all during work time. My students will most likely say, NO EATING MS. L. Since I gave them the rule of not being able to eat in class, and only recess time. Recess is 10:00-10:15, lunch is 11:30-12:30 and last recess is 2:00-2:15.

REMEMBER:
I AM NOT ON A DIET!
I'm just simply watching my portions & eating healthy. I'm avoiding junk & bad stuff basically. SO just incase anyone is like, what is Mara eating???


Workout routine:

30 mins. of circuit with the team.
[Includes, steps, skipping and running.] I have to admit, I was seriously dying in there due to stomach cramps. Before working out, I told Rob & Bas, my stomach is filled with gas & so I was sorta hesitant to work out. But I can't back down. I may have been dying from cramps but I'm a CHAMP!


Just wanted to point out that I have read my goals over again.
And it still amazes me that I've been in track of my goals & putting more effort to making things better for myself.

I work out 6 days a weeks.
Here is what my week consist of:

Monday: Cardio, Pump & Crunch Class with Mary & Jen.
Tuesday: Circuit with the team.
Wednesday: Weights with Bas & running on the tredmill & eleptical or bike.
Thursday: Circuit with the team.
Friday: Weights with Bas & running on the tredmill & eleptical or bike.
Saturday: could be my rest day.
If not, I either go to the gym or do my TAE BO at home.
Sunday: could be my rest day. if not, I run outside & then TAE BO.

(I alternate my weekends, my rest days can sometimes be on a saturday or sunday, but lately, I've been working out straight. If I have nothing to do at home, I'll pop in billy blanks & do some moves. And also, Bas knows this, if I'm just watching tv in my room, I'll grab my weights & just start lifting while watching tv.)

I noticed a lot of difference with my body. Loose pants is always a plus! But I also see my stomach getting smaller. My arms are starting to feel strong & the tonning part is getting there. (My other goal). It's so great to flex & see your arms looking nice! I am now 125 lbs. A freaking size S in UB shirts & a size 4 in jeans/pants! I love looking in the mirror now! lol. But overall, the way I have changed my eating habbits is great. I am so motivate to work out with everyone & seeing the changes. And when I see people around me work out, I push myself to work out even harder. That's where we get our motivation, from others.


So Rob, you want to know my secret?
Like I said, I AM NOT ON A DIET but I am finally eating healthy for once. And being consistent with working out.


As for Bas, his computer is whack.
But those who work out with us, knows how hard and dedicated Bas is to this program. His goal was to lose 20 lbs by his real Birthday, which is May 11th. And he is almost there., maybe he's already there. (Cause 2 and a half weeks ago, he's lost 15 lbs already. So maybe he has reached his goal!) His control of fighting temptation with food is incredible. (Since his house is surrounded by good stuff, he is able to eat healthy & stick to his diet!)


Ok, just wanted to say thank you to everyone again. I'm sorry if this is such a late late post. But I'm sure you all know how hard I push myself & dedicated as well.

The claass was pretty brutal - burning arms and legs but you're right I didn't give up and neither will you!!!

And we'll look hot hot hot in Boston! Or whereever we go in our loose pants ahahahah!

[Wednesday, May 2nd]

Meal 1: Green Tea with 2 WW toast & 2 eggs.

Meal 2: 1 Apple Crisp (Multi-grain) Bar.

Meal 3: Shrimp with squash & string beans & rice. (my dad made it for me.)

Meal 4: Nothing. (Had to do somethings during the last recess.)

Meal 5: Oven roasted chicken & corn.

Meal 6: Special K cereal with 1% milk. (Nothing at home really to snack on.) and Green Tea.


Work out routine:

20 minutes of weights with Bas.
30 minutes on the tredmill (Manual 5.3)
18 minutes on the eleptical (Resistance 6-8)
and sqeezed in AB routine with Bas.

We decided to go a bit early. So we missed the last part of top model. I wanted to go in early cause I wanted to start my weights so I can get a machine. which worked out fine. I'm actually impress with my workout today. Wasn't sure if I was able to do all that considering the time and all, but it all worked out ok. I even had plenty of time to do abs with Bas. Now my stomach is sore.

Infact, I really do appreciate you telling me the infos. Nice of you to be looking out for me. I kinda knew that it was cheating, but just didn't know it was that much calories. :|

And since it is cheating, then I refuse to drink tomorrow night cause I don't want to give in now for anything. I'll wait another week & celebrate on Bas' actual birthday! Can't wait!

[Thursday, May 3rd]

Meal 1: Blueberry Bran muffin.
(is this ok? I don't know. I had breakfast at work with the other teachers and the only choice I had was the blueberry bran muffin, the other stuff was just too high on sugar etc.) So muffin & green tea.

Meal 2: Apple Crisp multi-grain bar.

Meal 3: Grilled Salmon with broccoli. (My dad made it for me.)

Meal 4: Cold & juicy green apple.

Meal 5: Oven roasted chicken with rice.

Meal 6: Green tea & nothing.


Work out routine:

Thought we were gonna do circuit, so I wanted to warm up, so I went on the eleptical.
10 minutes on the eleptical (Resistance 8)
15 minutes doing weights.
20 minutes on the tredmill 5.4
10 minutes again on the eleptical.

weird workout.
I hate how I'm set to do the circuit but just didn't end up doing it. I guess it's ok, considering someone is injured.


[Friday, May 4th]

Meal 1: Green Tea. 2 eggs & 2 WW bread.

Meal 2: Green apple.

Meal 3: Sub. 6 inch of chicken, lettuce, tomato on WW bread. (I didn't really notice a difference with the bread. Usually would just have it on white).

Meal 4: Grilled chicken with pepers, tomato, lettuce on ww pita bread.

Meal 5: Apple Crisp multi-grain bar.

Meal 6: Green Tea.


Work out routine:
It was my rest day.

I was busy running around with Bas & Diana. I wanted to work out, considering I did take a half day from work. But going out with Diana is like going out for hours and hours. :S She wanted to buy a pair of new work out shoes, it turned out to be a really really long day of shopping. :S But I did manage to lift weights while Bas was lifting as well, he wanted to lift weights before his big night!


I felt really ugly & fat that night. Maybe cause of water & green tea. I don't know, I just didn't feel good about myself that night at the lounge. I looked at the other girls & I was just feeling crappy about myself...blah, i just felt fat.

But I am so happy we didn't end up eating after the lounge.

[Saturday, May 5th]

Meal 1: Green Tea. 2 plantin, 2 ww bread with eggs. (jamaicans love plantin and other things during breakfast.)

Meal 2: Green Tea & apple after.
(Had nothing else to snack on, I didn't want to go to Bas' kitchen looking around for food while he's still sleeping!)

Meal 3: Swiss chalet: chicken & rice. Didn't eat the bun cause I totally forgot to ask for ww.

Meal 4: Lean burgers with WW bread.
I was upset that his water thingy from the fridge wasn't working. I'm talking about Shaun's place. And so since I DO NOT drink POP. I had to drink ICE TEA. Which isn't even diet. I would've used tap water, but last time I did that, it made me sick.

(also, had 2 of Mary's candy. Thanks again!)

Meal 5: Grapes & then green tea.


Didn't get a chance to have meal 6. I was so tired and went to bed early!


Work out routine:

1 hr of TAE BO
(At Bas' place, while his dad was watching me & must've thought I was an idiot. Bas was sleeping, I was sorta hesitant to work out, considering his dad is always in the basement. But I was like, screw it, I have to.)

After TAE BO, I did ABS cause Bas was still sleeping. So just wanted to kill time before I showered!

I am extremely sorry for the lack of post guys. It's just been a really really terrible week for me. And now that I don't really have access to the computer, only when I'm at Bas' (and when he's computer isn't screwing up) that's when I'll go on.

I hope no one will hold this against me though.

I'll try my hardest to keep up with the post. But if anything, you guys are there to see me work my ass off at the gym. =)

Again, sorry guys.

It's just that, this week has been horrible.

Monday-Friday [May 7th-11th]

I did keep up with my work out routines. Although, I wasn't up for eating. I didn't eat when I was suppose to. I know it shouldn't be an excuse for what's going on. But it's really hard to focus. I'm not giving up that's for sure.

So starting now, I shall go back to eating at least 5-6 times a day.


And as for cheating on Bas' birthday. I didn't go over board actually. I only had 2 plates, filled my plate with rice, veggies, chicken & fried shrimp! (That's basically my 2 plates!)
As for dessert, I filled my plates with all sorts of cheesecakes (5 cakes in total) but only had 1 bite out of each. I wanted my bubble tea so bad, but I still refused to get it.

Overall, yaa I call myself out for not eating as much as I should. With the work out routines, it's still the same though. Took friday as my rest day.

I'll be back again to continue my post. (Bas really needs to call rogers to get his computer fixed!)

Ohh my bad lady friend.
I know you don't want to be like her.
ewwww, Bas & I think she's a lessy.
But yaa she is freaking mean.
Bas even witnessed this one incident that she fully yelled and started swearing at this big man with tattoos cause of this machine. Exactly same way she did to me about the tredmill! DAMN BUTCH!

And yes, I know about motivation.
So I totally understand.
Overall, I think you're looking even more beautiful. Beautiful consisting of: slimming down, your face isn't so round (seeing the nice features such as cheek bones!), high five for your awesome hair!, just overall looking hot! I can say more things, but Bas will just think I'm a lessy. But I'm not. I just really think you have totally changed, I'm still so amazed Jen!

I better stop now before I scare you. :S

Okkk the tredmill story!
I signed up to go on, i think around for 9:30. (right after doing weights). I rushed going up the stairs, only to find that she was using my machine! I looked at the binder to check if I really did put my name down, only to fukkin' find that she crossed my name off! And it was exactly 9:30! So Bas said to go and tell her. So I did. She was like, "WELL I AM ALREADY HERE, ARGH! YOU'RE LATE!" (She yelled that.) SO I just left. I didn't want to mess with that butch! And same thing happened to this man with this othe machine. Bas caught her yelling at him! Cause the man wasn't done using this weight machine and she went on it, the man was like, Ohhh I'm still using it. So she got up and said, "FINE, FORGET IT, FUCK TAKE IT!" ahhahahaha. Bas was like, "see she's miserable!"

so that's my story.



[Monday, My 14th 2007]

Meal 1: Green Tea with WW toast with cheese.

Meal 2: Green Apple (It was sorta soft ish, blaaaah.)

Meal 3: Chicken soulvaki on pita.

Meal 4: Chicken club on ww.
(Tim hortons.)

Meal 5: Green Tea. (so tired from working out, that i went to bed early.)


Work out routine:

1 hr Class of Kick boxing/tae bo, skipping, weights & Abs.
(It was a killer class. And this time, there was 3 guys in the class! So guys, come on, join us ladies!)

Went back to the gym with the others and I did weights with Bas. I pushed myself to go for 3 routines, even though my arms were killing me. And 8 minutes on the eleptical (resistance 10).


I'm seeing a lot of changes in EVERYONE. really, EVERYONE. but for some reason, am I the only one frustrated about themself cause they cant see any changes in them? :S

[Tuesday, May 22nd]

I felt sick during our trip, not cause of gas but I knew it was cause of the bad eating, I wanted to throw up so bad!

Horrible eating this past weekend!
And yes, I am extremely happy to be back on track now in terms of eating & overall, just working out.

Meal 1: Green tea & ww bread with cheese.

Meal 2: Green tea & slice of the mocha almond cake (from co-worker) read wall of shame.

Meal 3: Rice with chicken & green beans & corn.

Meal 4: Green apple.

Meal 5: Roasted chicken & steamed veggies.

Meal 6: Multi-grain bar (apple crisp) & green tea.


Workout routine:

Ran with Bas, Diana & their mom.
(Ran for a bit, then walked cause of their mom.) But overall, I did managed to sweat. (I wanted to hit the gym, but Diana & their mom wanted to spend time and talk. Since we weren't here all weekend.)

After running, I did some AB routine with Bas.

I think not being able to drink green tea on our trip killed me. I only had green tea once all weekend. So see how I over did it with my green tea when we got back? hahaha. Feels good!



[Wednesday, May 23rd]

Meal 1: Green Tea & WW toast with eggs.

Meal 2: Green Apple

Meal 3: Pork skewers & Steamed veggies.

Meal 4: Green Tea & Multi-grain bar.

Meal 5: Swiss chalet. (quarter chicken & rice with ww roll).

Meal 6: Green Tea & multi-grain bagel with cheese.


Workout routine:

30 minutes on the tredmill. (5.2-5.5)
20 minutes on the eleptical. (resistance 8.0, 12.0)

Right before working out, I also enjoyed my walk with Diana & Andrew. They wanted to go to Diary Queen, so I joined them. (Not including the whole Diary Queen part though. Boooooo!) OH well.

I'm off to work people, it's now 6:53am of Thursday, May 24th! Have a great day everyone!

Meal 1: eggs with tomato & onions, 2 ww toast & green tea.

Meal 3: Rice & pork skewers w/steamed veggies.

Meal 5: 6" Chicken club on WW from tim hortons

(this is while I'm typing this.)

Work out:

Walked with Diana & Bas to goetz (from his house), then ran 5 laps around the track at goetz, walked 3 laps around the track, then walked back to their place.
(it was so sticky out there, even around 7:50pm, going back home around 9:20 was nastyyyy! I'm sorry that we didn't go to the gym with you kool people, I wanted to get my work out done early for today cause I have tons of things to do for work, a lot of marking! Plus I want to go to bed early.

Ok, it's now almost 10pm of Thursday night, I'm off to finish somethings for work, then it's RUNS HOUSE. Yay. =)

[Friday, May 25th]

Meal 1: special k cereal w/1% milk, banana.
(After eating this, while getting ready for work, I had my green tea.)

Meal 2: Green apple, watermelon all chopped up into small pieces.

Meal 3: Chicken skewers, rice and bachoy (don't know the spelling.)

Meal 4: All bran bites (strawberry). Green tea.

Meal 5: Chicken wrap (ww pita bread of course)

Meal 6: half of the 6" chicken club sandwich (ww)from tim hortons.
and green tea.


Work out:

Ran with Bas, Diana, Rob and Con at goetz. I walked and ran, overall it was a good sweat, plus the weather was nice this time!

I'll be starting my weights again this coming week. I need to work out extra hard this last month of training. Cause it's almost time to fully bring out tube tops & all that sexy stuff for summer. :S

Also, I was wondering if we're back with doing circuit? I miss it.

[Saturday, May 26th]

Meal 1: Scrambled eggs, 1 piece of ham, 2 slices of tomatoes & 2 WW toast and green tea.

Meal 2: Multi-grain bar & green tea.

Meal 3: Grilled cheese on WW.

Meal 4: Fruits: watermelon, slices of apples, grapes.

Meal 5: Grilled chicken, rice & veggies.

Meal 6: (Cheat) had some of the new york fries from the movies. (Shared it with Bas). When I got home, I had green tea right before bed.


Workout:

1 hr of TAE BO RIPPED with Bas & Diana.
Kick boxing: working your arms, legs and mid section.
It was a freaking killer, maybe cause I haven't done tae bo in weeks! But it was a goooood workout though. After tae bo, we all did some AB routines.

Since it's been awhile since I did TAE BO, I think I'll be switching up my workout schedule. We only have about 5 weeks left with our training, so I will push myself extra hard for the next few weeks. so with that, here's what I was thinking with my schedule....

Monday: Class with Mary & Jen.
Then go back at night with Bas & the others to the gym & workout again. (Which I've been doing anyway.)

Tuesday: Go to the gym a bit earlier to do weights & then CIRCUIT with the team. I also want to do our AB routine after CIRCUIT.(Rob, you said we'll be starting again with our circuit right?)

Wednesday: Walk to goetz & run on the tracks, then walk back.

Thursday: Weights & then CIRCUIT.

Friday: Walk to goetz & run on the tracks, then walk back.

Saturday: Either going to the GYM or TAE BO. (Depending how things are at home.)

Sunday: TAE BO at home, due to Bas working.


If you guys noticed about the running at goetz part, it's because I promised Diana that I would run with her at GOETZ at least twice a week. So anyone who wants to come, you're more than welcome to. =)

I figured, SUNDAY should be my rest day, but I still want to squeeze in my TAE BO in there, I mean it's only 1 hour and the time goes by FAST when you're doing it. So I don't mind, it can also still be my rest day cause I plan on doing my TAE BO in the morning, so I have the rest of the day to just do whatever.

Only reason why I sorta switched up my schedule is cause we have 5 weeks left and I really want to have great results before CHICAGO. And overall the summer. (But mind you, we'll still continue our workout even after this competition.)

Ok, that is all.
Do you guys think this is too much?

I think that you need at least one rest day because your body needs to recover from all your working out.

But overall, I think you're doing great double!

i definitely think you should have a rest day.

the thing w/ being consistent w/ working out is...you always have to reasses and change. which sucks and is incredibly hard when you something has been working so well.

as you keep learning and reading you'll find the best ways to tweak your diet/routine. it's all a learning process.

[Sunday, May 27th]

Meal 1: Grilled cheese sandwich on WW and green tea.

Meal 2: Green apple and watermelon.

Meal 3: Grilled bb chicken with corn and peas.

Meal 4: Mutli-grain bar with green tea.

Meal 5: Salmon with tomatoes, rice and peas and chinese broccoli.

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich on WW with green tea.


Work out:

1 hour of TAE BO CONTACT.

I was so sore from the TAE BO ripped, so I grabbed my other TAE BO dvd (contact) and did this one as my workout for sunday.

I will take your advice mary, jen and rob. I'll take one day as my rest day. I guess after working out straight, and pushing myself harder, I don't have that much energy anymore. And also, Rob, I'll try to eat more. (but I hate my mentality of always thinking I'm fat and maybe with eating more, I feel like I'll be gaining weight again. :S) But I will try and eat more and add more protein. :S

5 more weeks guys, we've come this far and WE ALL worked so hard together, we can do this!!!


[Monday, May 28th]

Meal 1: Eggs with tomatoes and onions with 2 WW toast and orange juice with extra pulp.

Meal 2: Roasted almonds and green apple. (Roasted almonds isn't the same without the chocolate. :S oh well.) then had green tea while my students were working on journals.

Meal 3: Pork skewers with bachoy and rice.

Meal 4: Multi-grain bar and fruits (sliced green apple, grapes and melon.)

Meal 5: Roasted chicken with lettuce and tomato with marinara sauce on ww bread.

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich and green tea.


Work out:

Weights with Bas.
15 minutes on the tredmill (5.6)-(5.4)
10 minutes on the eleptical (8.0)


Sorry ladies for missing our class. Had to stay at work for extra things and help out with the talent show. But I am going with Mary tonight (tuesday) for this other class that they have at the valleys.


Jen, join us if you want. It's at 6:30.

No circuit tonight, due to the baseball game. Boooo. So class it is!

[Tuesday, May 29th]

Meal 1: Special K cereal with 1% milk, banana and later while getting ready for work, green tea!

Meal 2: Almonds and green apple.

Meal 3: Oven baked tilapia with rice, bachoy and chinese broccoli.

Meal 4: Low fat blueberry bran muffin and green tea. (I couldn't find anything else to eat at work, so I went to the staffroom and got the bran muffin, it is low fat though. :S)

Meal 5: Chicken club sandwich on WW from tim hortons.

Meal 6: Salmon with tomatoes, with steamed veggies and then green tea.


Work out:

1 hr of the class that includes 40 minutes of Cardio and 20 minutes of ABS.

Although the class was fun cause I was with Mary & Jen and we'd be laughing at certain moves cause it was just hilarious, I still find that the Cardio Pump Crunch Class every Monday is still way better. I didn't sweat as much as I always would during workout, maybe cause we didn't do weights. But I have to admit, the freaking AB workout was a killer! KILLER! I couldn't move after certain routines, so maybe that's why during the end I just couldnt move anymore and so I didn't balance myself and sorta fell. (right jen?). Oh well, at least we tried that class and good job ladies! GOOOOOOOOOD JOB!

Ohhhh, Mary, I was talking to Jen and we both agreed to try BOOT CAMP for next sunday!

So who is in,

[Wednesday, May 30th]

Meal 1: Special K cereal (the one with Almonds in it already.) with 1% milk, a banana and green tea after.

Meal 2: Low fat vanilla pudding, sliced fruits and Nestea Zero.

Meal 3: Baked waton cups with lettuce, shrimp and tomatoes with drizzled lemon as toppings for the waton cups. (I got this from Rachel Ray).

Meal 4: Almonds and green tea.

Meal 5: Rice with bbq pork chop and fried egg.

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich with green tea.


Work out:

I couldn't stop by at Rob's place right after work to get my weights. Cause I had to go to the bank right away before it closes, and I didn't know it'd take a bit longer there. After that, I had to go running already with Diana and Bas cause we wanted to be home in time for CANADA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!

So it was an early work out for us.
Walked to goetz with Diana and Bas and ran around the tracks for about 7 laps. And took a longer walk back home (Speed walk.)

Got home and Bas did weights while I did push ups and some exercises with the exercise ball :S (I was struggling, Diana was showing me some routine but it was hard for me for some weird reason.)

I didn't realize how sore my body was when I woke up yesterday morning. That workout class on Tuesday sure killed me and I think this heat is making me more drained out too. Also, I haven't taken a rest day since we've gotten back from Atlantic City. :S

So I am looking forward to this weekend, either taking Saturday as my rest day or Sunday. It all depends on how this weekend goes.

[Thursday, May 31st]

Meal 1: Cheerios w/ 1% milk, banana, and then green tea while getting ready for work.

Meal 2: Almonds w/ low fat vanilla pudding and green apple.

Meal 3: 6" Chicken club sandwich with a really really cold nestea zero. (so refreshing)

Meal 4: Nothing. so busy at work didnt have time.

Meal 5: Grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, salad and rice. (Bas cooked and made his own zoys at home.)

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich with green tea.

Work out:

Went to the vallies with Bas.
Walked and ran the same route we did with Mary and Rob before. Overall, the walked and run around bloor was great. But the weather was just nasty. After that whole workout, I was more sticky than ever! Yuck!


[Friday, June 1st]

Meal 1: Eggs w/tomatoes & onions, 2 WW toast, banana and orange juice with extra pulp.

Meal 2: Almonds & green tea.

Meal 3: veggies with beef and 1 ww roll.

Meal 4: Low fat blueberry bran muffin with green tea.

Meal 5: BM lean chicken burger, roasted potatoes and salad.

Meal 6: Low fat vanilla pudding, green apple, grilled cheese sandwich.


Work out:

1 hr of TAE BO.
(imagine my sore legs and still doing all the kick boxing, :S)
Overall it was a good workout, had to do tae bo cause Diana wasn't home & I had to hurry up and meet the girls at Katrina's.

I talked katrina out from going out to dinner. She wanted to go, but I was like, just eat what you have at home. (Only reason I did that is cause Katrina would prolly make me eat bad stuff, who knows.) After playdium, she ate her chicken that her mom made and good thing she didn't want to go out to eat!

[Saturday, June 2nd]

Meal 1: eggs, 2 ww toast and tea.

Meal 2: nothing.

Meal 3: chicken club salad.

Meal 4: grilled cheese sandwich, green apple and low fat chocolate pudding. (not a fan.)

Meal 5: Salmon with veggies and rice and 1 bbq chicken and then BOOSTER JUICE strawberry flavour (first time trying booster juice, sooo goood & Diana got me extra protein in it.)

Meal 6: cheerios w/1% milk and then green tea.


Work out:
Nothing- I decided to make saturday as my rest day cause I slept over at Katrina's house, then the day just became so lazy and ended up lounging around at Bas'.

4 more weeks left, it's time to get super hardcore & getting ready for Chicago. (I have to look good incase I plan on really seeing my cousins in chicago. I haven't seen them in over 2 years.)

[Sunday, June 3rd]

Meal 1: a banana.

Meal 2: Quarter white chicken, rice & ww roll from swiss chalet.

Meal 3: Cheerios with 1% milk. Green tea.

Meal 4: BM lean chicken burger w/roasted potatoes.

Meal 5: Low fat vanilla pudding, grilled cheese sandwich and green tea.

Meal 6: nothing, went to bed super early.


Work out:

1 hour & 15 minutes of BOOTCAMP!
(cardio: aerobics, push ups, weights, skipping, jumping jacks w/steps, steps, abs, etc.)

I can't think of anything else, there's just too many things we did in BOOTCAMP!

Finally, after weeks of talking about trying this workout class. Mary & I finally decided to go. And shit, it was a KILLER! KILLER I TELL YOU! Our instructor pushed us to the max! Routine after routine with only maybe 10 seconds or 15 seconds for break time. The first 10 minutes already, I was sweating like crazy. Overall, it was hard. VERY HARD! But we did it and at the end it felt good walking out of that class. REAL GOOD!



Next week, BOOTCAMP once again.

Meal 4: Green apple, low fat vanilla pudding.

Meal 5: Baked tilapia, veggies, roasted potatoes and nestea zero.

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich, green apple.

Work out:

1 hr of CARDIO PUMP CRUNCH CLASS.
(Kickboxing, weights, gliders, ab)

It's very hard to move around while you're still in pain from the previous hardcore bootcamp workout. My back is so sore, to this day!(Wednesday!).


[Tuesday, June 5th]

Meal 1: Cheerios with 1% milk, banana and then green tea while getting ready for work.

Meal 2: Green apple, blueberry yogurt (Not bad, first time trying yogurt).

Meal 3: 6" Chicken club sandwich on ww from timmys. green tea

Meal 4: Low fat vanilla pudding, ww ritz and nestea zero.

Meal 5: Salmon, snow peas, broccoli and 2 roasted potatoes.

Meal 6: Green tea with ritz & cheese.


Work out:

1 hr of TAE BO CONTACT
(Pretty much the hard core kickboxing we do in class girls, but more intense & works your legs a lot too.) after, 15 minutes of AB routine. I am extremely super sore. My back hurts so bad. :S

I did my workout from home cause I have a lot of marking to do for work. The school year is coming to an end, so I'm mighty busy!

Meal 1: Specia K cereal with 1% milk, banana and later on green tea whie getting ready for work.

Meal 2: Fruits: slices of apples, watermelon, mango and grapes.

Meal 3: Pork skewers, veggies & 1 ww roll. and green tea

Meal 4: Low fat vanilla pudding, banana & pistachos

Meal 5: WW pasta with salad.

Meal 6: Chicken skewers at Milestones, then green tea and ritz at home.

Workout:

1 hr of TAE BO RIPPED.

I didn't have time to go to the gym, I rushed home from work then just started my work out, to make it in time for Jay's dinner party.


Anyway, my dad is moving to a new place. He'll be moving this coming June 30th. (Don't worry, I'll still be going to Chicago. He insist that I go.) But anyway, my dad was sorting out his papers & he came across my passport applications. (My dad usually likes to fill out 2 copies, weird.) But my point is, in the application it says how much you weigh & I remember renewing my passport in 2004 (Right before going off to Europe). And oh my gosh, I wasn't 163 lbs. All this time I have been saying I weighed about 163 lbs. But throw up now guys, cause I weighed more!!!!! And my dad even showed me pictures from 2004 summer, where I went to Europe, California, Hawaii & chicago! Pictures that I refused to see and burried. But with this moving, my dad's able to find all the nasty pictures of me from back then!!!!!! And he's showing me this cause he says he's very proud of me that I lost how much weight!


Anyway, that is my story.
(I don't even think no one goes on this thing anymore. Except for Mary & I, hahaha.)

Gotta finish eating breakfast & head to work. Yay, it's Thursday.

[Thursday, June 7th]

Meal 1: Special K cereal with 1% milk, banana and few slices of mango that killed my stomach during the day! and green tea while getting ready for work.

Meal 2: Ritz crackers with green tea.

Meal 3: Didn't eat much, had so much to do at work. Rice, pork chop with veggies and nestea zero.

Meal 4: Low fat vanilla pudding with almonds.

Meal 5: Roasted potatoes, lean chicken burger and nestea zero.

Meal 6: Grilled cheese sandwich with green tea.


Work out:

Running intervals with Rob, Mary, Lou and Bas. I really enjoyed this run. It was hard for me cause I didn't want to leave Bas behind, so I'd stop a few to walk and look back. But overall, it was a good run for me. We should do it again next thursday and beat our time.

Today is Pizza Day at work.
I love when it's pizza day cause seeing my students go crazy makes me laugh and happy. Pizza day at work means we get to order food too. And we'll be getting swiss chalet for lunch! yummmmmm.

It was supposed to be my rest day!
But Diana wanted to walk & run at goetz. I couldn't say no, plus I wasn't really doing anything at home. So I went for a walk & ran for a bit at goetz.

[Sunday, June 10th]

Meal 1: Grilled cheese sandwich with green tea.

Meal 2: Rice, grilled pork & roasted potatoes. Nestea zero.

Meal 3: Low fat vanilla pudding, green apple, pistachios, 2 ww toast w/cheese. Apple juice.

Meal 4: WW Pasta, salad.

Meal 5: Cheerios, banana & green tea later on.

Meal 6: didn't have anything. went to bed early.

Workout:

1 hr & 15 minutes of BOOTCAMP!
Cardio, steps, push ups, weights, abs etc.
Such a hard class. That is all I can say. HARD!


[Monday, June 11th]

Meal 1: Eggs, 2 WW toast with cheese, pudding and green tea.

Meal 2: Green apple. (so busy at work!)-first recess.

Meal 3: 6" chicken club from timmys. Low fat pudding and nestea zero.

Meal 4: nothing. (had so much to do for work)-last recess.

Meal 5: Home made veggie pizza. (1 slice), green apple and low fat vanilla pudding.

Meal 6: Rice, grilled chicken, salad & 2 roasted potatoes. Nestea zero., later on before going to bed, I had green tea.

Work out:

1 hr of CARDIO PUMP CRUNCH CLASS!
Aerobics, weights, push ups and abs.


Since I didn't have a rest day last week. I might take 2 rest days this week, which will be Friday & Saturday (but for saturday, I'll still do my walk/speed walk and run for a bit, but I'll be taking it easy that day.) We'll see how it goes. I have to look good before our trip considering I'll be seeing family.

And also, I'll be doing my work out all week early. Maybe except Thursday if we do happen to run intervals. Only because I'm super busy for the next 2 and a half weeks due to marking & doing the report cards. School is officially done June 28th. So it's super busy now!

Anyway, off to work.

20 minutes of AB routine with Bas.
60 pushups with Bas.



[Wednesday, June 13th]

Meal 1: Eggs with tomatoes, 2 ww toast with cheese, banana and apple juice.

Meal 2: Mutli grain bar, green apple and green tea.

Meal 3: Quarter chicken, rice and ww roll from Swiss chalet (my co worker bough me!)

Meal 4: Low fat pudding with banana.

Meal 5: WW pasta, salad and nestea zero.

Meal 6: Right now, I'm eating grilled cheese, then a banana after. And I'l be drinking green tea soon!


Work out:

1 hr of TOTAL MUSCLE CONDITIONING.

Tried this class with Mary.
Overall it was hard. hard to balance yourself on that ball while doing weights. Squats was a killer and just having that ball roll off was jokes. But I have to say, it was a hard class but super fun! I enjoyed it. And Mary, if you're down to doing this every wednesday, I'll do it! =)

Meal 4: Low fat pudding, multi grain bar.

Meal 5: Quarter chicken, rice and roll.

Meal 6: Green tea with grilled cheese sandwich, green apple.


Work out:

Ran with mary, rob, eric, jay v and bas.

I was surprised that the entire run up to the point of reaching right infront of the vallies I was ahead of Jay V. Even with the few stops along the way due to having to see if Bas was behind us and see if he's ok, I'd still be up ahead of Jay V. The only down fall was, up to the point of reaching the vallies, right infront of the vallies, I told Jay V to go ahead and to make sure that I did reach the vallies because I had to run back to see if Bas was ok because he wasn't insight what so ever. Overall, it was a good run for me. Sweated like crazy like always though, so that's good for me!

Anyway, I'm off to the zoo today!
